Christmas

It seems like Christmas is three months long here in Puerto Rico.......In October you can already see Christmas lights in Malls and other places. We spent our first Christmas in Puerto Rico in 2005 - and It was an unforgetable one....we had just turn six months living in PR and not having all of our Family made it kind of weird but at the same time excited.......we went to Luquillo Beach on the 24th....and it was 90' HOT! - that's a big difference then being in NY under the cold and snow weather......

We decided to spend Christmas day with our friends Felix and Vicky and their five kids who live in Villalba.....we had not seen them in ten years prior to moving to PR - Felix had work with me in Dominos Pizza in Hoboken ten years ago and his older daughter Suly had been the "flower" girl at our wedding. Felix decided to cook a "PIG" from scratch because he wanted me to have the experience - its one of those experiences that's only "once in a lifetime"........

Here are some pictures of our first (2005) Christmas in PR..........

We decided for our 2006 Christmas to spend it in back home in NJ/NY with our beautiful family.....we had a GREAT Time!!!! we went to Rockerfeller Center to see the Christmas tree, we walk in NY city, we shopped, and we ate at some of our favorite places that we don't have here in PR - like "Olive Garden", "Benihanas", "Biggies", "Fiores", etc.....but most of all we got to spend valuable time with our family - Carol and Patty were pregnant and eating like hogs.

Here are some pictures of our 2006 Christmas in NY...................
